Launch of 'NXT Mesh Wi-Fi'

Next Field Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Takashi Nakamura) has launched 'NXT Mesh Wi-Fi', a next-generation mesh Wi-Fi system that solves the challenges of construction site communication infrastructure, such as difficulty in installation and configuration, unstable communication in construction environments, and high equipment costs. This enables the downloading of documents such as blueprints on-site, site visualization using inexpensive Wi-Fi cameras, and communication from the site via phone or chat, solving the problem of poor connectivity. The system can be easily installed using magnets or clamps, and because it automatically assigns the optimal connection path, no wiring or specialized knowledge is required. In verification tests, a communication speed of 20 Mbps was confirmed even in a multi-hop environment with 18 connected devices, making it suitable for use in building and apartment construction sites.
