Bamboo-en Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Kensaku Wakamatsu, Head Office: Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture) announces the official launch of an enhanced version of its occupational injury prevention service, "Fieldwork Potential Test (Filpote)," which measures physical abilities and supports their improvement. The new service includes a one-month training video program and a follow-up re-assessment.

Drawing on years of experience in the landscaping industry, the company has developed physical ability assessments based on expertise in high-altitude and construction work. A key feature of the new service is the provision of specific training programs designed to improve physical performance based on individual assessment results.

This service will be unveiled for the first time at the "13th Tokyo Occupational Safety and Health Expo," held from Wednesday, July 15 to Friday, July 17, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight (East Exhibition Hall).

【Development Background】

In corporate safety management, fall-related injuries account for 26.8% of workplace accidents, with an average of 48.5 days of absence per incident (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Reiwa 5). While many companies conduct health checkups and physical assessments, they often face challenges in evaluating results and implementing effective improvement measures. This service expansion directly responds to user demand for post-assessment support.

【Overview of the New Service】

Plan B establishes a complete cycle of "assessment → training → re-assessment." After the initial assessment, employees undergo one month of training, followed by a re-assessment. This design encourages employee engagement and enables measurable improvement.

The training program consists of "Fil-Torei," a 4-minute and 30-second routine designed to replace workplace radio calisthenics, and "Fil-Care," which targets individual weak areas for home-based practice.

【Improvement Results】

Actual measurement results show improvements in shoulder flexibility, single-leg stance duration, and sit-and-reach performance before and after training. In particular, single-leg stance time is recognized as a key indicator in fall risk assessment.

The Filpote initiative received the Block Award in the Age-Friendly category at the SAFE Consortium AWARDS 2023.
