The World Local Mascot Grand Prix Executive Committee will hold a new era evaluation event, the "World Local Mascot Grand Prix," from July 7 to December 13, 2026. This event aims to visualize the "daily, steady activities" of mascots and turn them into a driving force for regional revitalization. Unlike traditional short-term popularity contests, it introduces a hybrid voting system that links long-term web voting with high-value votes from real events held in locations like Hikone, Shiga. The competition is open to international mascots and uses a fair voting system with LINE ID and GPS verification to prevent fraud.
