HUMAX Entertainment, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Michio Akimoto) announced that Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas, operated by the company, will hold a special screening of all 13 episodes of the TV anime "serial experiments lain" starting September 2, 2026 (Wed).

This screening is being held in conjunction with the collaboration project "serial experiments lain" by fashion brand SEVESKIG (セヴシグ), titled SEVESKIG presents "let's all love lain".

Since its TV broadcast and game release in 1998, "serial experiments lain" has depicted the blurring boundaries between the real and network worlds against a backdrop of uncertainty during a transitional period. Its unique worldview continues to attract passionate support across generations and borders, more than a quarter of a century after its broadcast.

The POPUP exhibition held at Laforet Harajuku will feature not only collaboration items but also an exhibition reinterpreting the work's originality.

Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas will be holding a special screening of all 13 episodes of the TV anime "serial experiments lain" as part of this joint project. We will deliver an experience of connecting to the world of "serial experiments lain" through the theater screen.
