Hottayu Ltd. (Adachi-ku, Tokyo; 3rd generation owner: Kazunori Hotta) has donated a portion of sales from its original merchandise to the 'Adachi Children's Future Support Fund,' an initiative by Adachi-ku to support children.

This initiative was undertaken out of a desire to support the growth of children, who represent the future, and to give back to the local community that has supported the bathhouse.

Background of the Donation Since its founding in 1942, Hottayu has served as a bathhouse close to the daily lives of local residents. Following its renovation in 2022, it has gained support from not only traditional local customers but also younger generations and visitors from afar, becoming a center for disseminating new sento culture. Under the concept of 'warming this town,' Hottayu has been considering how to contribute to the local community beyond just providing bathing experiences. As part of this effort, a portion of the proceeds from its original merchandise is being used to support local children.

Eligible Merchandise for the Donation The donation covers a portion of sales from original items sold at Hottayu, including: - Hottayu original towels - Original T-shirts - Original stickers - Water bottles - Other original goods
