【JK Fandom】1st 'VIVA (Virtual Icon Vision Awards)' Announced! Official Homepage Open, JK Fandom Joins as Official Voting Partner!

The Korea Virtual Human Industry Association (KOVHIA) announced today the decision to hold the first 'VIVA (Virtual Icon Vision Awards)', an award ceremony to honor icons active in the virtual content industry, and opened the official homepage. JK Fandom, a global fan support platform operated by Fancs Communications Global Inc., will participate as the official voting partner for this award and conduct online fan voting.

What is 'VIVA (Virtual Icon Vision Awards)'?

'VIVA' is a fan-participation award hosted by KOVHIA with the slogan 'Beyond the prejudices of the world, let your talent shine.' It aims to discover and honor the value of icons active in the rapidly growing virtual content industry, together with fans. Bringing together virtual idols, streamers (VTubers), and characters from the expanding virtual industry onto one stage, fan votes play a significant role in determining the results from candidate selection to final award decision.

VIVA consists of three categories (totaling 15 divisions):

Category-Specific Candidate Selection Method

・Virtual Idol Category: Candidates for the main voting are selected through online preliminary fan voting.

・Virtual Streamer Category: Candidates are selected from those recommended by the association and direct applicants, based on the association's evaluation criteria.

*Note: The Virtual Streamer category is now accepting direct candidate applications on the official homepage (application period: until August 4, 23:59 (Tue)).

・Virtual Character Category: Candidates are selected by the association after consulting with field-specific experts.

*Note: In the subsequent main voting, the final winners of each category will be determined by fan votes.

Virtual Idol Preliminary Fan Voting Starts on July 22

Online preliminary fan voting for the Virtual Idol category will be conducted as follows:

・Voting Period: July 22, 2026, 12:00 PM (Wed) ~ August 4, 2026, 11:59 PM (Tue)

*Note: The voting period may be changed without notice at the discretion of the organizers and operators.
