10th Anniversary 'Local Government Employee Award 2026' Announced / 'Local Government Thanks Award' Also Launched

Applications are accepted until July 7, with winners to be announced in late August on the media platform 'www.holg.jp,' followed by an awards ceremony on Saturday, November 7, at Midtown Yaesu Conference.

The award recognizes approximately 10 local government employees annually, regardless of whether their work is high-profile or behind-the-scenes, along with a 'Next Hope Award' for those under 30. By sharing the achievements of these outstanding individuals, the goal is to create an environment where every civil servant can perform better, ultimately leading to a better society.

Additionally, to mark the 10th anniversary, the company will hold the 'Local Government Thanks Award,' where employees can express gratitude to one another. Amidst challenges in recruitment and retention, this initiative aims to help foster a more supportive working environment.

[Book Featuring Winners to be Released!] The achievements and life stories of all winners of the 'Local Government Employee Award 2026' (including the Next Hope Award) will be compiled into a book and sold in bookstores nationwide. With the cooperation of Koshokuken Co., Ltd., a publisher specializing in local government established in 1971, the stories will be carefully crafted through interviews.
