Launch of 'Demand Map' Service: Visualizing All Taxi Dispatch Requests

Pocket Taxi Association Co., Ltd. (Funabashi, Chiba; President: Kazuhiko Kaneko) has developed and launched 'Demand Map,' a feature for its 'Pocket Taxi' dispatch system and app, designed to help regional taxi companies predict where demand for taxis exists. Since the pandemic, taxi demand has recovered, but companies are struggling with severe driver shortages. To increase revenue despite these shortages, efficiency is crucial. The 'Demand Map' visualizes dispatch requests from both phone and app on a map, allowing operators to see when and where demand occurs without needing extensive experience or mental maps. It also tracks unfulfilled requests, helping to improve conversion rates. The service allows filtering by date, day of the week, and time, making it easy for new dispatchers to manage operations. Benefits include real-time response to demand changes, optimized vehicle deployment, and synergy with existing request-tracking features. The monthly fee is 10,000 JPY for the management plan and 1,000 JPY for the driver plan.
