Music Bird, Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo / TOKYO FM Group), which distributes programs to community FM stations nationwide, will launch a new program "@Hon ga Yomitaku naru, Radio" on Saturday, July 4, 2026, featuring business book authors as guests each week.
The program's most distinctive feature is that three current editors-in-chief from publishers specializing in business books will serve as main personalities and engage in dialogue with "authors from companies other than their own." Typically, editors appear in the media primarily to promote their company's authors, but this program will directly confront the authors' words and personalities from a position independent of sales interests.
The tagline is: "Meeting Authors You Can't Meet in Bookstores, on the Radio."
Through 55 minutes of in-depth conversation, the program aims to inspire listeners to think, "I want to read this book."
"Cross-Border Dialogue" Between Authors from Other Companies and Current Editors-in-Chief
Three editors-in-chief active on the front lines of business book editing (Gen Osumi from PHP Institute, Hiroki Kodera from Subarusha, and Kazuo Yajima from Asuka Shinsha) will appear on a rotating basis. Because they are in a position detached from their own company's sales, they will pose pure questions about the book itself and the author as a person. From an editor's unique perspective, they will delve deeply into the background of book creation and the author's thoughts.
55 Minutes of the Author's Own Voice
An author's words, silences, and changes in voice that cannot be fully conveyed in short appearances—the "live temperature" unique to radio will be delivered as is.
【Program Outline】
Program Name: @Hon ga Yomitaku naru, Radio
Broadcast Start: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Broadcast Time: Every Saturday 23:00–23:55 (55 minutes) / On air on community FM stations nationwide

<Program Structure>
- The Current State of the Publishing Industry: MC editors-in-chief and a navigator discuss new book trends and the "now" of the editorial scene.
- Miyako and Sota's Book of the Day: Introduces the guest author's work for the day in a reading format.
