Event Flyer: 'Visionary Brand Session 01'

MONOEN Inc. (Representative Director: Takahiro Nakamura, hereinafter 'MONOEN') will host its brand launch event 'Visionary Brand Session 01' on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 'TSUNAGI' in Higashiosaka City, Osaka Prefecture.

At this event, MONOEN will debut its new symbol, logotype, mission, and vision, while sharing insights on how manufacturing companies can transform their technology and quality into 'preferred brands.'

The event will feature Chief Creative Officer Kenichiro Koyama, who led the brand design, and Representative Director Takahiro Nakamura. Using MONOEN's own rebranding as a real-world example, they will explain how a brand is born and how it connects to management, sales, recruitment, and sales.

What We Will Share at 'Visionary Brand Session 01'

A brand is not a logo.

It has philosophy, worldview, and a promise for the future.

On this day, MONOEN will be reborn as a new brand.

Symbol.

Logotype.

Vision.

And why we create 'brands' at all.

For the first time, we will share it all.

About CCO Kenichiro Koyama

Kenichiro Koyama, Chief Creative Officer / Brand Designer, MONOEN Inc.

In 2010, served as VMD Manager for ITX Japan Co., Ltd., overseeing display design for existing and new ZARA stores in Japan. Later transitioned from the apparel industry to architecture, serving as a creative producer involved in brand strategies for dozens of companies while handling over 300 design projects annually. In 2018, acquired and revitalized a defunct hotel and hotel business in Kunigami Village, Okinawa Prefecture. Has led projects including the development of KYOTO SUITS, a brand using discarded kimonos from Kyoto University (Brand Producer) in 2023, The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto's 'EARTHDAY2023' (Creative Director), and ANA's SDGs brand development (Creative Director) in 2024.

For MONOEN's rebranding, he led the development from core brand philosophy and concept to symbol, logotype, visual identity, and the overall brand worldview.

Kenichiro Koyama's Comment

A brand is not something you create. It is an idea that takes shape and gradually embeds itself in people's memories over time.

Every beautiful brand has a 'reason.' That reason is not design, price, or trend.

What do you believe in? What do you protect? What do you aim to leave for the future? That philosophy becomes space, becomes words, becomes products, and eventually becomes the 'reason to choose' in people's hearts.

I believe a brand is the most beautiful expression of a company and its statement to society.

This event is not a place to share know-how. It's about what value is. What beauty is. What being chosen means. It's about a future where companies are chosen for their value, not their price.

I sincerely look forward to meeting you at the venue.

Takahiro Nakamura's Comment

Japanese manufacturing holds world-class technology and compelling stories.

However, the era where simply making good products naturally communicates their value is over. We must articulate the philosophy behind technology and quality and communicate why these products should be chosen today.

At this event, we will present MONOEN's own rebranding as a case study. For manufacturing professionals who are interested in branding but unsure where to start, we hope to provide a meaningful starting point for thinking about brand building.
