The open-name business succession platform 'relay', operated by Light Right Co., Ltd., realized a third-party succession for 'Hayashi Office Machines', an office supply store loved for 47 years in Ebino City, Miyazaki. A handover ceremony was held at Ebino City Hall on May 21, 2026. Hayashi Office Machines, established by Tamotsu Hayashi in 1988, has been the sole regional office supply store, supporting local infrastructure by selling, leasing, and repairing OA equipment for public facilities. Over 70 years old, Mr. Hayashi decided on a third-party succession to expand future possibilities. The successor, Mimisumasu LLC, represented by Ryo Ueno, provides intangible services like migration consultation. Ueno moved to Shiiba Village as a Regional Revitalization Cooperator in 2017 and founded Mimisumasu in 2020. This succession integrates Mimisumasu's intangible services with Hayashi's 47 years of tangible products and customer base, aiming to become a company capable of comprehensive support in rural areas. The ceremony featured words of gratitude from Mr. Hayashi and a commitment to continue the business by Mr. Ueno, who shared a firm handshake.
