Renatech Inc. (Headquarters: Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture), a company developing health indicators based on trace elements and applying them to real-world use, announces the launch of its proprietary screening test, the 'Metalo Balance Test,' which assesses the risk of cancer and MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment), at Shindoh Orthopedic Clinic (Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture) starting Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

With the addition of this clinic, the testing infrastructure for the 'Metalo Balance Test' in the Nishio City area and surrounding regions will be further strengthened, providing local residents with a more accessible and innovative option for health management.

What is the Metalo Balance (MB) Test?

The Metalo Balance Test is a risk screening (triage) test that objectively evaluates the risk of cancer and MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment) at the time of blood draw by analyzing the concentration balance of 17 trace elements (metal elements) in the blood.

【Features of the Test】

Single 6mL blood draw: Blood is safely collected under the proper management of medical institutions. The test takes approximately 15 minutes, is minimally invasive, and places little burden on the body.

Site-specific 'Cancer Risk Test': With a single blood draw, cancer risks are evaluated by site (6 sites for men, 9 sites for women) and scored on a four-tier scale from A to D. [Men] Lung cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer [Women] Lung cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer

Comprehensive 'Cognitive Risk Test (MCI Risk Assessment)': Evaluates all types of cognitive impairment, including not only Alzheimer's type but also vascular and Lewy body types.

Proven research results and international recognition: Developed through joint research with the Kanagawa Prefectural Cancer Center and the Chiba Prefectural Cancer Center, supported by a research grant from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's Go-Tech program. Patented in 9 countries including Japan, and cumulative test takers have exceeded 100,000 (from April 2019 to March 2026).
