7-member hip-hop group H//PE Princess, born from Japan-Korea joint audition program, signs global contract with Warner Music Group

H//PE Princess Warner Music Group, one of the world's leading music companies, is pleased to announce that it has signed a global contract with H//PE Princess, a hip-hop group born from Mnet's Japan-Korea joint project "Unpretty Rapstar : HIP POP Princess" produced by CJ ENM. Warner Music Group will support the artists in achieving their goal of "becoming a hip-hop group that electrifies the world."

"Unpretty Rapstar : HIP POP Princess" was a global survival audition program conducted with the aim of forming a next-generation hip-hop group to be active on the world stage. A total of 40 participants from Japan and Korea took part, with Soyeon from (G)I-DLE, Gaeko, RIEHATA, and Takanori Iwata (Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS) serving as main producers.

After three months of fierce selection, seven members were chosen through fan votes from around the world, and H//PE Princess was formed in December 2025. The group aims to debut in the first half of 2026, and the title track of their debut album will be produced by Gaeko of Dynamicduo, who has long led the Korean hip-hop scene.

H//PE Princess is the first artist managed by Chapter-I Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by CJ ENM, a global IP powerhouse, and Hakuhodo Inc., a global integrated marketing and innovation company. Warner Music will collaborate with CJ ENM and Chapter-I to support the group's activities in Asia and around the world.
