Mirocomachiko Exhibition 'Stars Carried by a Turtle' at Seto STUDIO 894 from July 3

From July 3 to August 30, 2026, STUDIO 894 in Seto City, Aichi, is hosting painter Mirocomachiko's solo exhibition, 'Stars Carried by a Turtle'. The artist depicts unseen creatures inspired by nature as Seto ware artworks. The exhibition features new Seto ware items, including turtle-shaped mosquito coil holders, figurines, and rhombus-shaped ceramic boards with overglaze painting. The title comes from the shell pattern of the star tortoise mosquito coil holders. A special talk event and gallery tour by Mirocomachiko will take place on July 4, exploring the production background and the stories behind her creative Seto ware works.
