Hakkaisan Sake Brewing Co., Ltd. Group (Headquarters: Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture; President & CEO: Mahito Noguchi; hereinafter 'Hakkaisan') has entered into an official sponsorship agreement with Major League Baseball™ (hereinafter 'MLB') in Japan.

We are pleased to announce the opening of 'Stand Hakkaisan,' a real-life experiential pop-up shop featuring Hakkaisan × MLB, in Shinbashi, Tokyo, from Tuesday, July 14, 2026, to Sunday, December 27, 2026.

Experiencing the Hakkaisan × MLB World in Shinbashi, the Birthplace of Japanese Baseball

This store will open temporarily in Shinbashi, Tokyo—known as the birthplace of baseball in Japan—as a brand experience hub. Inside, MLB highlight videos will be shown, and in an immersive atmosphere, we will sell products such as the Hakkaisan MLB Collection Label series. We aim to offer a new way to enjoy sake fused with sports to a wide range of customers, including sake enthusiasts, domestic and international baseball fans, and inbound tourists. The shop will open on July 14, 2026 (Tuesday) at 5:00 PM, coinciding with the day before the MLB All-Star Game (local time July 14).

Background of the Event

Hakkaisan has long pursued the vision of 'Making Sake a Global Beverage,' striving to spread the charm of Japanese sake worldwide. As a new step, we formed a partnership with the Los Angeles Dodgers in the Los Angeles area, and our sake 'Hakkaisan' has been adopted as the team's 'Official Sake.' At local stadiums, many fans enjoy watching games with a bottle of 'Hakkaisan' in hand, showcasing a new way to enjoy sake to the world.

Our goal is not merely to deliver sake. We deeply believe in sharing the delicate flavors of Japanese sake and the warm moments of toasting with friends, alongside the passion of sports that transcends borders and language barriers. This time, we have created a space in Shinbashi, Tokyo—the birthplace of Japanese baseball and a hub for diverse domestic and international visitors—where our vision can be shared through all five senses.

Through 'Stand Hakkaisan,' we aim to deepen engagement with MLB fans and introduce more people to Hakkaisan products and Japan's fermentation culture, offering a place to experience the new joys and charms of sake.
