Hokkaido Hotel Opens Teaser Site for Second Facility in Obihiro City, "Sauna & Spa Resort Hokkaido Hotel Obihiro Station South"

Kachimai Holdings Co., Ltd. (Obihiro City, Hokkaido; President: Katsuhiko Hayashi) has launched the official teaser site for its new hotel, "Sauna & Spa Resort Hokkaido Hotel Obihiro Station South," which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2028.

The teaser site provides a preview of the hotel's concept, as well as images and renderings of its exterior, guest rooms, sauna, spa, and lounge.

Building upon the "relaxation" and "hospitality" that Hokkaido Hotel has long cherished, we will propose a new hotel experience where the stay itself becomes the purpose.

Further evolving the values of "rest" and "hospitality" that Hokkaido Hotel has cultivated, the new hotel will offer a stay that fuses accommodation, wellness, and regional experiences under the theme of "Rest & Recovery."

The hotel will feature guest rooms designed with a glamping concept for a comfortable stay surrounded by nature, a spa area with an open-air bath using Tokachi's famous moor hot springs and several types of saunas, a restaurant serving dishes made with fresh ingredients from the agricultural kingdom of Tokachi, and a club lounge and gym to enhance the value of your stay, making it a convenient base for sightseeing and business.

We aim to create a new value for stays that balances the comfort of an urban hotel with the rich time unique to Hokkaido, allowing guests to escape from the everyday and gently refresh their mind and body.

Large-Scale Redevelopment Project on the Former Nagasakiya Obihiro Store Site

The Obihiro Station South area is expected to see increased visitor numbers and regional revitalization in the future. This hotel boasts excellent convenience, being approximately a 1-minute walk from Obihiro Station and close to the bus terminal, aiming to be a new hub for Tokachi tourism and stays. The development area will include condominiums, commercial facilities, a large multi-story parking lot, and public spaces, aiming to create a free space where local residents and travelers can interact, not just a standalone accommodation facility.
