(Headquarters: Nihonbashi Muromachi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will offer the "Semikiya Premium Fruit Plan," a special first-time event for the "Fujisan View Express" tourist train running on the Fujikyu Line. This plan allows passengers to enjoy limited-edition sweets created by Nihonbashi Semikiya Sohonten. The plan will be available from Sunday, August 9, 2026, to Sunday, August 16, 2026.

The "Fujisan View Express," as its name suggests, is a tourist train where passengers can enjoy a luxurious and relaxing time, with views of the majestic Mt. Fuji up close from the windows and an interior reminiscent of a hotel with a warm wooden ambiance. For this collaboration, Nihonbashi Semikiya Sohonten will feature Yamanashi-grown peaches, which are among Japan's leading peach-producing regions, nurtured by Mt. Fuji's pure water and abundant sunlight, as a local delicacy of the region. Passengers can savor exquisite 100% juice made from Yamanashi-grown peaches carefully selected by Semikiya Sohonten's skilled connoisseurs, along with limited-edition sweets specially prepared for this occasion. The experience will be enhanced by the use of tableware actually used at Semikiya Sohonten's Nihonbashi Main Store, creating a luxurious moment as if you were in a fruit parlor.

About the Fujisan View Express

This scarlet tourist train runs on the Fujikyu Line, the railway closest to Mt. Fuji, between Otsuki Station and Kawaguchiko Station (total length 26.6 km). The line has a maximum altitude difference of approximately 500 meters, and the majestic scenery of Mt. Fuji can be viewed from the picture-frame-like windows. The train's design was handled by industrial designer Eiji Mitooka, who also worked on JR Kyushu's trains, and features an interior reminiscent of a hotel with a warm wooden ambiance. The spacious and sophisticated space transforms even travel time into a blissful moment. This train, consisting of 3 cars, operates with a general seating car (Car 3), a reserved seating car (Car 2), and a "Special Car" (Car 1). In this special car, special hospitality is provided to suit the travel style, including sightseeing guidance by attendants and a commemorative boarding stamp.
