Daito Co., Ltd. This enables users in the Kanto region to pick up a wide range of professional tools and materials, with up to 250,000 SKUs available on "Torano-te," directly at logistics centers on the same day they place their order.

Background of Service Launch

Previously, when materials were insufficient at a job site, workers had to leave the site to visit physical stores without knowing if the items were in stock. Furthermore, in recent years, increased shipping volumes have led to delivery delays by major logistics companies. This service was launched in response to the voices of tradespeople who have long expressed to Daito their need for immediate pickup, saying, "I want it now, so I'll come pick it up."

Daito has been developing "Torano-te Pit-in," a direct pickup service at logistics centers, since December 2025, as a new form of logistics that fuses the convenience of e-commerce with the immediate delivery of physical stores.

At the locations in the Kinki region, where the service was launched earlier, it has met the urgent needs of tradespeople and businesses who "need it now," receiving a response far exceeding expectations.

In reality, customers who "ran out of stock at the site and absolutely needed it today" have been able to resolve their issues on the spot, expressing great satisfaction after driving an hour to the pickup location. This has led to daily "rescue stories" born from the "certainty and immediacy" that traditional e-commerce lacked.

Based on this solid track record and positive feedback, we decided to expand into the Kanto region, Japan's largest market, and chose to deploy the service at two of TRUSCO NAKAYAMA's main warehouses, with whom we also collaborate in the Kinki region.
