Kinako Dough x Hojicha Paste... Gentleness spreading from fragrant aroma. Hojicha paste made with Kagoshima-produced hojicha is wrapped in dough made with "Tamahomare" kinako, the kinako used in Tsukushimochi.

Chatsu is a Japanese confectionery themed around tea, made by wrapping bean paste in matcha-kneaded dough and baking both sides. However, in recent years, fewer people are familiar with its existence.

"As a wagashi shop, we want more people to know about 'chatsu.'"

With this in mind, a young employee, in their second year at the company, has created a "flavor that resonates with the present era" by incorporating Kyushu-produced ingredients and youthful ideas, while cherishing the traditional chatsu making method.
