Gifu Shimbun University Guidance for High School Students to be Held June 20: Prestigious Universities from Kanto and Kansai Gather in Gifu

Gifu Shimbun Co., Ltd. (Gifu City) will host the "University Guidance for High School Students" on Friday, June 20, 2026, at the Gifu City Culture Center.

As the region's premier annual education event, it offers students and parents the chance to learn about campus life and admission systems directly from university representatives—details often unavailable in brochures. With the diversification of entrance exams, the event has become a critical resource for all grades; notably, 20-30% of participants are now first- and second-year students starting early preparations.

Key Highlights

Individual Consultation Booths (No Reservation Required) Leading universities nationwide will participate. Beyond the Chubu region, prestigious schools from Kanto (Sophia, Meiji, Rikkyo, Hosei, Chuo, Senshu) and Kansai (Kyoto, Kansai, Kindai, Ryukoku, Kyoto Sangyo) will be present.
