Yanagawa Tachibana-tei Ohana Offers Limited-Time 'Sophisticated Scary Play' with 'Gokuraku no Ma' and 'Yokai-bune'

Yanagawa Tachibana-tei Ohana is collaborating with the 200-year-old Yame-based lantern shop 'Ito Gonjiro Shoten' to offer a limited-time special guest room called 'Gokuraku no Ma' (Room of Hellish Paradise) and a night river cruise called 'Yokai-bune' (Yokai Boat), produced by Hiroki Ito of CRAFCULT. 'Gokuraku no Ma' is a concept stay blending traditional Japanese yokai culture, lighting, and art, available from July 1 to August 31, 2026. The 'Yokai-bune' night river cruise will also be available during the same period, allowing guests to experience the magical night of Yanagawa with stories of kappa folklore told by the boatman. Additionally, the art event 'Kikai Yako' will be held on August 13-16, 21, and 22.
