[PRODIST] Launch of "THERMAFIX™︎ PLT PROFIT VEST," a Peltier vest compatible with safety harnesses and fan-powered clothing

Showashokai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture; President: Shui Sano) will launch the Peltier vest/cooling wear "THERMAFIX™︎ PLT PROFIT VEST" in early June 2026 (scheduled) under its professional gear brand "PRODIST™︎."

By combining a newly developed Peltier device with a patent-pending "Spacer Ring™︎," the vest enables simultaneous wear (layering) with safety harnesses and fan-powered clothing, which was previously difficult with conventional Peltier vests.

Designed for continuous use in severe heat, this gear offers a new option for on-site heat mitigation regardless of equipment constraints.

- Compatible Design for Practical On-site Use The patent-pending "Spacer Ring™︎" allows for simultaneous wear under safety harnesses and fan-powered clothing. - Large Peltier unit on the back achieves approximately -22°C from ambient temperature. Equipped with a large Peltier device on the back, the vest demonstrated cooling performance of approximately -22°C in measurements at an ambient temperature of 25°C. *Results are based on company measurements and may vary by condition. Sensation may vary by environment, wear status, and individual.

- Battery safety for demanding environments. To ensure reliable performance in high-temperature environments, special attention was paid to the power source. THERMAFIX™︎ PLT PROFIT VEST utilizes an iron phosphate mobile battery. Compared to conventional lithium batteries, this reduces the risk of overheating and swelling, achieving higher safety. Furthermore, it boasts a long lifespan of over 2000 charge/discharge cycles, compared to an average of about 500 for standard lithium batteries. The goal was to create a product that is safe and reliable for professional on-site use, focusing not just on cooling, but also on safety and longevity.

Intended Use The vest is intended for introduction in various work sites, including construction sites. It is proposed as a "wearable heat countermeasure" adapted to on-site operational conditions, helping to maintain work performance in high-temperature environments.
