Sendai Ramen Festa 2026 (Report)

K.H.B. Higashinihon Broadcasting (headquartered in Taihaku-ku, Sendai City) hosted the "Sendai Ramen Festa 2026" from Friday, April 24th to Wednesday, May 6th (holiday substitute). This event, now in its 11th year, brought together popular ramen shops from across the country at Asuto Nagamachi Mori-no-Hiroba Park, offering exquisite ramen that could only be enjoyed at the venue. Collaborative initiatives, such as a professional sports supporter discount for presenting "Sendai 89ERS" and "Vegalta Sendai" game tickets, and a special discount ticket set, were also implemented, attracting a large number of visitors. The number of visitors exceeded 81,000, and over 86,000 bowls of ramen were served, both recording the highest numbers ever! Visitors highly praised the event, giving feedback such as "It's great to be able to enjoy multiple delicious ramen dishes at the venue" and "All the shops were appealing, and with a variety of genres, I indulged myself a lot." K.H.B. Higashinihon Broadcasting will continue to plan various events to entertain many people and aim for regional revitalization.
