Future Initiatives With the mission of "Sustainable Forest," Shin-Mirai has been developing and operating 'eTREE,' a timber platform for architects and designers, and coordinating forest-certified and traceable timber, aiming for the realization of sustainable forests and society. While interest in timber utilization in the architectural field is increasing, challenges such as: - Not knowing which timber to choose - Concerns about procurement risks and compliance with regulations - Inability to explain environmental considerations and carbon sequestration amounts still exist. Through this program selection, the company aims to advance timber distribution and proposal operations using the latest AI technology and create new business opportunities. Specifically, the company will analyze accumulated timber product data, quotations, and information on past quotation processes using the latest AI platforms and managed services provided by Google Cloud™ to streamline quotation creation and timber product selection in timber coordination. This will improve the accuracy and speed of proposals and reduce the man-hours required for quotation confirmation with partner companies. Furthermore, by analyzing service usage data from services such as AI Adviser provided by the company, Shin-Mirai will understand the needs of designers and architects and return that knowledge to lumber mills and suppliers, thereby enhancing demand-supply matching.
