[Rakuten Eagles] Kano Eiko to Perform Ceremonial Pitch on July 4 (Sat)!

Rakuten Baseball, Inc. (Headquarters: Miyagino-ku, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture; President: Masayuki Morii) is pleased to announce that comedian Kano Eiko, a native of Miyagi Prefecture, will perform the ceremonial pitch at the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters game on Saturday, July 4.

This will be Kano's fourth consecutive appearance since 2023. In addition to the ceremonial pitch, he is scheduled to appear on the pre-game stage and participate in various events during the inning breaks.

He often impersonates characters such as a driving school instructor or a ramen shop owner, persistently emphasizing his own "handsomeness" with catchphrases like "You, temporary license. Me, handsome!" and "What would you like? Ramen, tsukemen, me, handsome!". His unique style often evokes a mix of "cool" and "cringe," which somehow manages to capture the hearts of many women.
