Jiichiro Co., Ltd. (HQ: Hamamatsu, Shizuoka), the operator of the baumkuchen brand Jiichiro, will reopen its "Jiichiro S-PAL Sendai Store" on June 3, 2026, within the S-PAL Sendai commercial facility directly connected to Sendai Station.

The "Jiichiro S-PAL Sendai Store," which first opened in March 2016, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. To mark this milestone, the store will be transformed into a new format featuring an integrated cafe.

The integrated cafe, "Jiichiro Creperie," will offer plated crepes in a relaxed setting, focusing on a moist texture. With a focus on high-quality ingredients such as butter, flour, and eggs, the crepes are designed as sophisticated sweets for adults.

The retail section will also launch the "Miso Baked Goods," an exclusive product for the S-PAL Sendai store. This baked item uses Sendai miso from Ota Yohachiro Shoten, a miso and soy sauce brewery founded in 1845 in Shiogama, Sendai. The deep flavor of the carefully crafted miso is combined with walnuts to create a gentle sweetness.
