Kankyo Techno Solutions Co., Ltd. (Tokyo; President: Shoichi Shirai) launched 'EcoTraceDX for PCB,' an AI-powered environmental DX platform for identifying and processing PCB equipment, on June 15, 2026.

Developed for companies and municipalities facing challenges in identifying PCB equipment before the March 2027 disposal deadline. By registering equipment photos, manufacturer, model, and manufacture year, the AI determines PCB probability using 250,000 units and 800 tons of survey data. It also advises on disposal methods for difficult cases.

Jointly developed with Forone Holdings Inc. (Tokyo; Representative: Kotaro Shirai) to fuse environmental expertise with AI technology.

An asbestos version and payment functions will be added in August 2026, aiming to build an integrated platform for environmental waste like PFAS.

A campaign runs until late July 2026, offering free registration and annual fees (usually 20,000 yen each) for 200 early adopters, targeting 500 registrations by September.
