Sankei Shimbun’s entertainment project, 'Machi Sowa,' will host the talk event 'AYA Style' on September 3rd (Thursday) at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM at Yomiuri Otemachi Hall (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo).
Aya Yumeshiro, former top star of the Takarazuka Revue's Snow Troupe, will use the 'Marie Antoinette Style' exhibition—opening on August 1st—as a starting point to discuss the French queen and her own personal aesthetics. Special guest Sakina Ayakaze, also a former top star of the Snow Troupe, will join her. The two, who lived as Antoinette and Fersen on stage, will reveal their current paths as they thrive in their new ventures. This official event includes admission tickets and bonuses such as a non-sale exhibition leaflet.
Aya Yumeshiro Interprets Marie Antoinette 'Marie Antoinette Style' explores the figure of the most fashionable French queen in history. Featuring a rare collection from London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, the exhibition showcases her innovative style. Yumeshiro, who played Antoinette in Takarazuka’s 2024 'Rose of Versailles: Fersen Edition,' will offer her perspective as a performer on Antoinette as a visionary 'producer.'
Fersen (Ayakaze) and Antoinette (Yumeshiro) Cross Perspectives Special guest Sakina Ayakaze will also share her insights. As the actor who played Fersen, her lover, Ayakaze will offer a unique viewpoint on Antoinette. The aesthetics and current paths of these two stars, who mastered the stylized beauty of Takarazuka, will resonate across time and space.
