Kadokawa Daiei Studio Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Takeshi Kikuchi; hereinafter Kadokawa Daiei Studio) is pleased to announce that its virtual production studio "C∞/C Infinity®" (Chofu City, Tokyo) has newly introduced and begun full-scale operation of a state-of-the-art LED display system (two BOE panel models) from April 2026, to further enhance the freedom and quality of visual production.

Kadokawa Daiei Studio launched the cutting-edge virtual production studio "C∞/C Infinity®" in April 2024, equipped with Sony's large 6K-sized "Crystal LED VERONA" LED display, and has been providing a high-quality video production environment that seamlessly integrates real and virtual art.

To meet the diverse needs from shooting sites and pursue greater freedom in camera work and realistic environmental lighting, the company has newly installed BOE's "Portable LED Panel (BTJ-XM019A)" and BOE's "Elevating Ceiling LED Panel (BTJ-XC039A)" as permanent fixtures within the studio. This enables a wider range of visual expression and more natural reflections of light on subjects than before, realizing a more flexible and high-quality shooting environment.

▶ Overview and Features of the New LED Display System

1. Flexible Lighting and Image Creation with Portable LED Panels (BOE: BTJ-XM019A)

Two compact yet high-definition portable LED panels, measuring 3m wide by 4m high, have been permanently installed. In addition to the main large LED display, these portable panels can be moved to expand the background, allowing for more flexible camera work. Furthermore, they enable the projection of arbitrary images onto the sides or front of subjects, which is particularly advantageous for vehicle shoots.

2. Overwhelmingly Realistic Environmental Light with Elevating Ceiling LED Panel (BOE: BTJ-XC039A)

A large ceiling LED panel, measuring 6m wide by 7m deep, has been permanently installed, creating a rare elevating system in Japan. By outputting sky or arbitrary imagery from the ceiling at an overwhelming high brightness of up to 5,400 nits, it reproduces extremely realistic environmental light on subjects within the studio. This allows for the natural reproduction of changing sunlight, weather, and light penetration in outdoor scenes, even in studio shoots, significantly improving the integration between the main background and the subject.

3. Enhanced Production System with VFX Producer Involvement

Viewing virtual production as part of VFX, a VFX producer has been newly added to the team. With the addition of producers who have extensive experience in CM, film, and drama shooting, a comprehensive support system is now available, including CG background production and other software-related aspects.
