Kintetsu Department Store Kashihara Branch will celebrate its 40th anniversary in the spring of 2026. To express our gratitude for the 40 years we have walked with the support of the local community since opening in 1986, we will hold special events and fairs in succession.
As a kick-off, on Wednesday, April 1st, we opened 'Oyatsu Meguri,' a self-curated sales area bringing together popular sweets from all over Japan, on the basement food floor. Furthermore, on Saturday, August 1st, we will open the 'Nara Prefecture Kashihara Cultural Hall Gallery' on the 6th floor as a new base for local cultural promotion.
In our medium-term management plan, our company positions regional stores as 'regional infrastructure functions' and promotes 'regional co-creation' to contribute to solving issues and developing local communities. As a 'Store of a Hundred Values' that delivers a hundred emotions, rather than just a place to sell things, we will take this 40th anniversary as an opportunity to strengthen our role as a platform that connects more deeply with the community and enriches everyone's lives.

- 1. Hokkaido Fair (April 15th to 21st) We will hold a 'Hokkaido Fair' bringing together the rich bounty of the great northern land. In addition to classic sweets and seafood bento boxes, we will offer a wide range of items, from trending new-sensation sweets like raw donuts to adorable Shimaenaga-related goods, delivering the multifaceted charm of Hokkaido.
