Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store Participates in 'Osaka Art & Design 2026' Starting May 27

Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store will participate in 'Osaka Art & Design 2026' (OAD), a city-wide event exploring art and design across Osaka, from Wednesday, May 27, to Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

Marking its fourth year, OAD is one of Japan's largest art and design festivals, with over 60 venues throughout central Osaka featuring unique works by acclaimed creators.

Under the 2026 theme 'Infinitize,' the event features diverse programs including: innovative prism art by Takahiro Matsuo based on the concept of 'Light Crystallized'; an immersive installation by Akatsuki Yamaguchi focusing on transparency and reflection; and craft confections by Soke Minamoto Kitchoan, elevating wagashi to art. Additionally, the 'Harukas Coro-Coro Daisakusen!' project, co-created by individuals with disabilities, local residents, and students, will showcase art symbolizing human connection.
