Nomuraya Holdings Enters Supply-Demand Adjustment Market with Ueda Kokubu Battery Storage

Nomuraya Holdings Co., Ltd. (Location: Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture; Representative Director: Kenta Nomura) announced that its grid-scale battery storage facility, 'Ueda Kokubu Battery Storage,' began participating in the supply-demand adjustment market on April 29, 2026. This facility is the first grid-scale battery storage system from the Nomuraya Group to enter the supply-demand adjustment market. By providing adjustment power, which is becoming increasingly important with the expansion of renewable energy, we will contribute to the stabilization of the power grid and the realization of a decarbonized society. In addition, this facility uses a battery storage system from Power X, a domestic battery manufacturer. This is the first project for the Nomuraya Group to adopt Power X products, and it is positioned as an important initiative for the future development of the grid-scale battery storage business.
