Uchidaya Launches 6 Early Summer Menu Items Featuring Eel and Lemon Somen

Uchidaya Co., Ltd., operating long-established udon restaurants in Kyushu, announced six new early summer menu items featuring eel, conger eel, and somen starting June 3, 2026. The seasonal dishes will be available at participating Uchidaya and Menkatsu locations.

The new eel dishes, available from June 5, pair fluffy eel with a sweet sauce and kinshi egg. Offerings include the Special Eel Box (1,790 yen) with two eel pieces, the luxurious Eel and Pork Cutlet Box (1,390 yen), and a Mini Eel Bowl (990 yen).

From June 3, refreshing options using seasonal conger eel and cold noodles were introduced. These include the Conger Eel Tempura Bowl with small udon (1,080 yen), the Conger Eel Tempura Zaru Udon (1,080 yen), and the Salt Lemon Somen (530 yen), which features cold broth topped with plenty of refreshing lemon and a hint of rock salt. These familiar yet seasonal dishes offer a perfect way to enjoy the approaching summer heat.
