Wittamer, the prestigious Belgian Royal Warrant holder, will release its highly anticipated seasonal "Cherry Bonbon" starting June 1, 2026. This limited-time delicacy is a staple of the brand's early summer collection.
Each Cherry Bonbon is crafted by soaking domestic Japanese cherries in Kirsch liqueur for a full year. These alcohol-infused cherries are then encased in smooth sweet chocolate and fondant. When bitten into, the rich, aromatic Kirsch flows out, offering a sophisticated and decadent tasting experience. Due to the liquid center, customers are advised to enjoy them in a single bite.
The product is available for 486 yen per piece or 2,700 yen for a 5-piece set (including tax). They will be sold at Wittamer's 22 locations, primarily within major department stores in the Kanto and Kansai regions. Please note that these items are not available via the online shop and will only be available while supplies last, making them an excellent choice for Father's Day gifts.
Founded in 1910 in Brussels, Wittamer opened its first store in Japan in 1990. Today, it continues to share Belgian traditions through its chocolates, cakes, and baked goods across 22 stores.
