Ohga Pharmacy Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hakata-ku, Fukuoka; President: Takahiro Ohga) launched the 'Orgaman Yakuiku Project' in 2020, beginning outreach activities at kindergartens and nursery schools near Fukuoka City in 2022. As of Friday, May 22, 2026, the project has reached a cumulative total of 400 schools, providing health education to 43,834 children.
The project is a participatory initiative that teaches children proper medication usage and health habits—such as handwashing, gargling, and brushing teeth—in a fun way through songs and dance.
Initially limited to the Fukuoka area, the project saw significant positive feedback from parents and school staff regarding the children's 'behavioral changes.' Through word-of-mouth and referrals, requests from outside the prefecture increased. Currently, the project has expanded its reach from Fukuoka to Kagoshima, Okinawa, Kumamoto, and Saga prefectures. It has grown into a program with a waiting list of over six months, with plans to visit approximately 470 schools by the end of the year.
Ohga Pharmacy remains committed to protecting the health of local children, continuing to expand its efforts across Kyushu to contribute to regional health and preventive awareness.
