CABaN FUKUOKA to Host First Ever POP-UP SHOP by Eguchi Clothing Store / Eguchi Watch Store from July 18 (Sat) to July 20 (Mon) for Three Days Only.

A POP-UP SHOP by Eguchi Clothing Store / Eguchi Watch Store, the first of its kind at CABaN FUKUOKA, will be held for three days only from July 18 (Sat) to July 20 (Mon).

CABaN FUKUOKA, the largest concept store in CABaN's history, is based on the concept of "further bringing out each individual's personality, transcending gender, age, and nationality." During the event, we will feature a selection of vintage dress watches, including those from the world's top three watch brands, Rolex Cellini, and Jaeger-LeCoultre.

Furthermore, at this event, we have prepared content that allows you to experience the charm of watches from various angles, including vintage watches, as well as reservation-only repair workshops and talk sessions, in this space where fashion, lifestyle, and culture intersect.

<Watch Repair Workshop> Touch the inside of a watch. Understand its mechanism. The precise structure inside a watch, which is usually not seen. Within a case of only a few centimeters, hundreds of parts are combined to keep time as one watch. In this workshop, you will first choose your preferred mechanical watch, learn how to hold and handle tools such as tweezers, and then challenge yourself to disassemble the movement. You can experience how a watch works by touching each part. Participants will also receive an original loupe from Eguchi Watch Store as a gift. We hope you will feel closer to the charm of watches, along with the memory of the experience.

<Special Talk Session>

A talk session will be held with Eguchi, representative of Eguchi Watch Store, Koichi Futamata of CASE-REAL, and Nagata, a repair technician from Eguchi Watch Store. Watches, architecture, and fashion. Although they are different fields, there are many commonalities in the values of "long-term use" and "inheritance." In this session, we will discuss the encounter between Mr. Futamata and Mr. Eguchi, the structure and design common to architecture and watches, the role of repair technology, the charm of old things, and the value of things that are loved for a long time, from each perspective. We hope that the intersection of our ideas will lead to new discoveries. Please enjoy.
