French premium fashion sports brand LACOSTE (Lacoste) presents its Harajuku-exclusive My Lacoste Artist Program. The 10th edition welcomes artist yoshi47, who has been active across various fields both in Japan and internationally, launching original merchandise from July 18, 2026.

At Lacoste Harajuku, the brand reinterprets its DNA through Harajuku’s unique culture—street style, French craftsmanship, Japanese aesthetics, sports, fashion, art, creativity, music, and café culture—under the theme of 'the chemical reaction born from connections through the crocodile.' As part of this initiative, the My Lacoste Artist Program partners with artists from diverse fields to release limited collections featuring crocodile motifs infused with each artist’s unique creativity. Previous editions have featured collaborations with MHAK/Masahiro Akutagawa (Vol.1), KAGAMI Takeshi (Vol.2), SOEDA Nana (Vol.3), MACCIU (Vol.4), HAyU/KOgawa Manabu (Vol.5), imase (Vol.6), ESOW (Vol.7), 5eL (Vol.8), and Godzilla (Vol.9), each delivering distinctive and vibrant collections.

Regarding this collaboration, yoshi47 shared: 'I usually draw characters with a secondary character that resembles a wolf or wild dog. In this collection, that character transforms into a crocodile.' On the unexpected fusion of themes, he added: 'I was reading the book "The Three-Body Problem" during the final design phase, so extraterrestrial elements naturally found their way into the artwork.' Notably, this edition introduces a rarely seen item in past collaborations: a mug. Inspired by his personal interest in pottery, yoshi47 found a serendipitous connection with Maruasa Seitoujo, a renowned manufacturer in the Mino ware tradition known for its deep history in mugs and coffee cups. The collaboration was born from this shared passion. yoshi47 described the creative process: 'I approached this not as my usual detailed paintings, but with a more spontaneous, one-shot line style.' The resulting collection features bold, eye-catching designs that spark joy and excitement when worn.
