Gold, which has seen its asset value rise significantly in recent years, continues to captivate people worldwide with its noble luster. Daimaru Shinsaibashi is holding a 'Gold Fair' featuring approximately 300 gold products. This event highlights special pure gold large and small coins featuring Osamu Tezuka's manga 'Phoenix,' created in collaboration for the 300th-anniversary logo. The collection also includes exquisite ornaments, tea and sake sets, magnificent Buddhist altar fittings, and unique character goods crafted by skilled artisans. The event takes place at the Daimaru Gold Salon and Art Glorieux Gallery of Osaka on the 8th floor of the Main Building. The 'Phoenix' large coin (50g) is priced at 3,000,000 JPY, and the small coin (20g) at 1,200,000 JPY. A dynamic gold-leaf object is also available for 9,900,000 JPY. The collaboration stems from the 'Phoenix' motif associated with the peacock relief installed in 1925 and a focus on Japanese pop culture. Various other gold items, such as a pure gold dragon ornament (14,410,000 JPY) and brandy cups, are also on display.
