Matsuzakaya Shizuoka store will hold 'Wagashi Weeks' from June 3rd to June 16th to coincide with 'Wagashi Day' on June 16th. Wagashi Day originates from the 'Kasho Day' in 848, when the era name was changed to 'Kasho' to pray for the end of an epidemic, and sweets were offered to the gods. In this project, we will deliver the charm of Japanese culture through seasonal fresh sweets and famous confections. Furthermore, on June 7th, as a special order project, we will sell 288 limited quantities of the popular 'Anmitsu' from Ueno Mihashi. Please enjoy the flavors of famous stores such as Toraya, Kano Syojuan, and Ryoguchiya Korekiyo.
