[Sunday, June 21st is Father's Day] Give Roses for Father's Day! Yamaguchi Prefecture Flower and Horticulture Agricultural Cooperative Association Shimonoseki Rose Division Holds Rose Exhibition and Event at Daimaru Shimonoseki Store

The third Sunday in June, June 21st (Sun), is Father's Day.

The Yamaguchi Prefecture Flower and Horticulture Agricultural Cooperative Association Shimonoseki Rose Division is conducting PR activities aimed at establishing the custom of giving roses for Father's Day.

This activity introduces yellow roses and roses produced in the prefecture, conveying gratitude for the day. This is the third consecutive year the event is being held at Daimaru Shimonoseki Store. From June 19th (Fri) to 21st (Sun), approximately 50-60 varieties and about 500 roses will be on display.

On Father's Day, Sunday, June 21st, a new event will be held starting at 10:00 AM: a "Garapon" lottery where you can win a single rose (one draw per person who presents the Daimaru Matsuzakaya app). Starting at 12:00 PM, the roses on display will be specially sold, continuing from last year, and a fresh flower sale will also be held. Adding a bouquet of roses would be a nice Father's Day gift.

Ikebana arrangement at Daimaru Shimonoseki Store 1st Floor

Daimaru Shimonoseki Store, which is involved in introducing and selling local products, is displaying an ikebana arrangement using locally produced flowers on the 1st floor next to the up escalator. This event, which started through this display, has been well-received by visitors, leading to its third occurrence.
