Oshikai Textile, founded in 1928, continues to challenge the infinite creativity of Hakata Ori. In 2000, they presented designs for small leather goods and accessories in New York, making their brand debut as 'HAKATA JAPAN'.

With 'Advanced Classicism' as their brand concept, their stylish designs, which combine high weaving technology and timeless aesthetics with the most progressive sensibilities, propose an evolutionary value for an era of self-expression.

The other uses an ORIO original pattern specially ordered from Hakata weaver Chikuzen Textile Co., Ltd.

Himeji leather, with about 1000 years of history, and Hakata Ori, with about 800 years of history. The connection of Kuroda Kanbei and Nagamasa, who moved from Himeji to Fukuoka and ruled the Hakata region, quietly links the two production areas. The body is leather tanned in Himeji/Tatsuno. It gains luster and character with use.
