Support for Public-Private Partnership Points Program Utilizing Ogaki City's Digital Local Currency 'GakiPay'

Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank (President: Hayashi Keiji) has launched a collaborative initiative with Ogaki City (Mayor: Ishida Hitoshi) to expand the private-sector use of the city's digital local currency, 'GakiPay'.

This program leverages the GakiPay system to enable local companies and organizations to fund and distribute points to residents and employees through a public-private partnership model. The goal is to promote the circulation and adoption of GakiPay in the private sector, thereby revitalizing the local community and economy. OKB will support the program's establishment by introducing it to businesses and providing implementation assistance.

As the first participants, Mirai Communication Network Co., Ltd. (CEO: Ito Yoshihito), headquartered in Ogaki City, and Delicasuit Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Hori Tominori) will launch initiatives utilizing GakiPay.
