Seibuen Amusement Park (Location: Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture; General Manager: Tomohiro Nishida) has decided to extend the 'Nostalgic Aquarium' exhibition, which marked the finale of the 'Showa 100th Anniversary Great Festival'!

During the extension period, a touch pool will be available where guests can interact with 'Bullhead Sharks' (distinguished by their cat-ear-like protrusions), starfish, and other sea creatures. Additionally, a workshop titled 'Masterclass! Carp Streamer Painting' will be held with guest craftsman Rintaro Arano. The venue will be decorated with over 100 cherry-blossom-colored carp streamers, creating a spring-like atmosphere where visitors can enjoy the charm of living creatures.

*Original Period: December 5, 2025 (Fri) – April 5, 2026 (Sun)

'Nostalgic Aquarium' is Seibuen Amusement Park's first-ever special aquarium exhibition, serving as the finale of the Showa 100th Anniversary Festival. Utilizing biological display and tank production techniques developed through over 30 years of aquarium management at Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, it invites guests into a 'world wrapped in heartwarming happiness.'

The interior is divided into three zones. In 'Storefront Showcases' resembling department stores, coffee shops, and candy stores, creatures blended into the shopping street atmosphere welcome the guests.

Beyond the shopping street, a 'Time Trip Bus' appears, offering a nostalgic and mysterious primeval landscape where creatures swim freely across the sky visible from the windows.

Furthermore, the exhibition features 'Aquaponics,' a sustainable future tank utilizing the latest technology, and an experiential exhibit of Gara rufa (doctor fish), known for eating old skin from human surfaces.

Touch Pool Types: Bullhead Shark, Sea Urchin, Starfish, Sea Cucumber, etc. Dates: April 18 (Sat), 19 (Sun), 25 (Sat), 26 (Sun) Location: In front of the Nostalgic Aquarium Time: 11:00 – 16:00
