Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise: Ken Matsudaira Proves to be a True 'God of Sunny Weather' with 91.7% Success Rate in Japan's First 'GW Sunny Weather Contract'

Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise announced the results of Japan's first 'Golden Week Sunny Weather Contract' with actor Ken Matsudaira, part of their special GW event 'Matsuken Mamire Yuenchi'. Out of 12 days during GW, an astonishing 11 days were sunny (91.7%), resulting in a 50kg rice bale reward for Matsudaira. The immersive event, which filled the park with Matsudaira themes across 11 collaborative attractions, was highly successful, recording a 26% increase in visitors compared to the previous year.
