Nozawa Architects Inc. (Head Office: Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Representative Director: Osamu Nozawa, hereinafter "the Company"), a custom home builder in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, with a 100-year history, is pleased to announce that it has won the Grand Prize in the Building category at the "Japan Housing Quality Award 2025," a construction quality evaluation hosted by NEXT STAGE Inc.

The Company received the Excellence Award at the same awards ceremony last year (the 2nd "Japan Housing Quality Award 2024"), and as a result of further efforts to improve its sites and enhance quality, it has impressively won the Grand Prize this year (the 3rd). The awards ceremony was held on June 10, 2026 (Wed) during the "Japan Housing Quality Summit 2026" at the Obic Hall in Osaka.

About the "Japan Housing Quality Award 2025"

This award, presented by NEXT STAGE Inc., focuses not on visible "design quality" such as design and specifications, but on "manufacturing quality (site capabilities)" – how well the performance specified in the blueprints is realized on-site. It is a prestigious award aimed at providing peace of mind to end-users by visualizing the construction process through on-site audits covering all 10 stages.

Background of the Award: Relentless Pursuit of "Quality Proven by Numbers"

With the management philosophy of "Making our customers' everyday lives the happiest," the Company has made high airtightness and high insulation (C-value of 0.5 or less, UA-value of 0.46 or less) and seismic resistance grade 3 standard specifications for all homes.

We have been thoroughly committed to "quality proven by numbers," including the introduction of construction quality evaluations by the third-party organization NEXT STAGE and the public disclosure of airtightness measurement results for all homes.

Without resting on last year's Excellence Award, the dedication of our site craftsmen and staff working together to make improvements has led to this Grand Prize.
