Representative Onjo has been involved in the necktie wholesale business for over 50 years. Having handled countless neckties, the brand ONJO'S was born from the desire to 'honestly create a tie that is true to ourselves.'

Our roots lie in an admiration for the trad and Ivy styles that have continued since the 1970s. Influenced by VAN and Men's Club, we have engaged with fashion for many years, from American trad to designer brands. What we ultimately returned to was a classic beauty that transcends trends.

We still keep neckties from over 30 years ago, old overseas materials, and fabric samples, and sometimes take them out to review the fabric's volume, luster, and the atmosphere of the color combinations. This is because we believe there is always a reason why things endure through the ages.

All materials are 100% silk. The fabric is slowly woven on low-speed looms at a weaving mill in Kyoto. While only a limited amount can be produced per day, this results in a deep luster and soft volume. A characteristic is the rich texture with unevenness that is difficult to express with mass production.

The color combinations are also put together one color at a time, based on the sensibilities cultivated over many years of necktie making. Colors that are not flashy but do not get lost. Colors that are classic yet feel a bit playful. We cherish this sensibility.
