RUSH Produces and Constructs 'DO SAUNA' at Hokkaido Ballpark F Village

RUSH, inc. (Headquarters: Suginami-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Reito Nakayama), a company specializing in end-to-end sauna design, construction, and branding, in collaboration with Rakkuya Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shoichi Arai), produced and constructed the new 'DO SAUNA' area on the second floor of SUNNY TERRACE in Hokkaido Ballpark F Village, Kitahiroshima City, which opened on May 18, 2026.

Between Snow and Stone. A space to unwind.

Yukidō (Snow Cave) × Ishidō (Stone Cave)

'Snow' and 'Stone,' nurtured by the land of Hokkaido.

When these contrasting materials resonate, humans naturally become one with them. Sauna transcends architecture and becomes a breathing landscape.

Both 'Yukidō' and 'Ishidō' carry the meaning of a cave.

Two Immersive 'Caves'

'Yukidō' (Snow Cave): Features dreamlike soft light emanating from plastered walls and curved aesthetics that envelop the body. It includes ergonomically designed benches for ultimate comfort, guiding the mind and body into transparency within the silence of being wrapped in snow.

'Ishidō' (Stone Cave): Offers a rugged rock surface and lighting/sound effects synchronized with auto-löyly, providing an overwhelming sense of immersion as if sinking into the depths of a cave. There may even be motifs hidden within the rocks.

Full-scale Simulation at 'RUSH BASE'

A key feature of this project is the thorough simulation conducted at RUSH's experimental base, 'RUSH BASE.' Before on-site installation, a full-scale 'mock-up' was constructed to verify scale and details. By adjusting and then reconstructing on-site, the company achieved superior quality without compromising the design.
