S MODEL WORKS Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture, Representative: Masato Sakai) is offering a "Dinosaur Diorama Making Experience" with unprecedented "techniques and teaching methods."
This time, the event location has moved from Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, a dinosaur production area where it was held for 8 years, to "Seiren Planet (Fukui Prefectural Museum of Natural History Annex)," located at a hub of public transportation networks connecting people from within and outside the prefecture. We will convey the fun of "dinosaurs," "craftsmanship," and "Fukui" to many tourists.

What is "GeoCube Wonder!"
It is a craft experience attraction where you create a diorama (scenic model) inside a cube, and can enjoy "Wonder!" (surprise and wonder).
*We do not use the term "workshop" as it is distinct from general workshops in both technique and progression.
Anyone, from first-time crafters (beginners) and those lacking confidence, to children aged 3 and up and adults, can create "works of astonishing completeness" in a short time of about 30 minutes.
This experience is a "Dinosaur Diorama Making Experience" using unique techniques, the only one of its kind in Japan, born from over 50 years of model-making expertise and 15 years of experience as a culture salon instructor.

[Addendum]
The "Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum" (Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture), which attracts 1.3 million visitors annually, is not only the best in Japan but is also considered one of the world's three major dinosaur museums, alongside the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology in Canada and the Zigong Dinosaur Museum in China.
"GeoCube Wonder!" was experienced by over 15,000 people over 8 years (held seasonally from spring to autumn) at "Hotel Harvest Ski Jam Katsuyama" (name until March of this year) for overnight guests in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture.
Many repeat visitors from all over the country also attend.
S MODEL WORKS is also undertaking the production of large-scale dinosaur dioramas for the "Hakusan City Geopark Hub Facility," scheduled for completion next spring.
