Kento Yamazaki and Takumi Kitamura Star in 'Chiruran: Shinsetsu' Drama Series

U-NEXT has begun exclusive streaming of the drama series 'Chiruran: Shinsetsu', a live-action adaptation of the popular comic book by Eiji Hashimoto and Maya Miyazaki. The series is set in the late Edo period and follows the story of the Shinsengumi, a group of samurai who fought to maintain the power of the Tokugawa shogunate. Kento Yamazaki stars as the main character, Toshizo Hijikata, alongside a talented young cast including Shinnosuke Mitsushima, Ayumu Nakajima, and Ryota Bando.
