Mystery Channel (AXN Entertainment Inc., Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Ryoji Nojima), Japan's only mystery drama specialty channel, will launch a special project to fully enjoy both the drama and novels, commemorating the publication of the latest volume in the "Kate Linville" series (Sogen Mystery Bunko) based on the original work of Charlotte Link, who is also known as the "Empress of German Mystery" and is one of Germany's most successful contemporary authors.
As the third installment of the "Tokyo Sogensha Hour" collaboration programming with mystery publisher "Tokyo Sogensha," the channel will exclusively broadcast "Detective Kate Linville's Case Files" for the first time in Japan on July 5 (Sun).
In addition, starting July 2 (Thu), the original novel "Kate Linville" series (Sogen Mystery Bunko) will be available for purchase on the Mystery Channel official online store. The lineup includes four titles (each with upper and lower volumes) that have been adapted into the current broadcast: "The Abductor," "Innocent," and "A Lonely Night" (*3), along with its prologue, the first installment "Betrayal." Furthermore, as a special bonus exclusively for this store, all purchasers of the original books will receive a Mystery Channel original sticky note, and set sales with original merchandise will also be available.
